In just one hour, we’re able to cover what my school has taught me in the past week in a more enjoyable and clear way … I recommend it 100%, because if you stay consistent, you’ll definitely see the progress.
Our experience has been great. Our son got support for both DP SL maths and HL chem. Both tutors are working out to be a great fit for him. He is finding both really helpful especially to explain material he has covered quickly in class and his confidence particularly in math has grown immensely.
AA puts more weight on algebra, functions and calculus, and Paper 1 is sat without a calculator. AI puts more weight on modeling, statistics and technology, and every paper uses a graphic display calculator. Both are offered at SL and HL, and the choice is made with your school.
Yes. The Internal Assessment (IA) is a mathematical exploration worth 20% of the final grade. Your teacher can help you choose a workable topic, plan the structure and present the math clearly. The exploration must be your own work, so we guide the process and never write it for you.
Yes. Lessons include exam-style practice for Paper 1 and Paper 2, and for Paper 3 at HL. DP exams are held in May and November, and your teacher can plan the weeks before the exams with you.
Yes. The IB has announced updated AA and AI courses, first taught from August 2027 and first examined in May 2029. The current courses are examined for the last time in November 2028. The IB describes the update as a refinement: some content is removed and none is added.
DP math lessons are €92 per hour until December 31, 2026, and €97 per hour from January 1, 2027. Every lesson is a personalized one-to-one session with your tutor, with high-quality resources.
